$1000 Suspenders Scholarship Design Contest

JJ Suspenders is one of the largest high end suspender manufacturers in the world.

From the very beginning, our mission at JJ has been to innovate on the things long forgotten and bring back some much needed life into the stagnant suspenders industry. We're looking to further this by working with talented artists to create new suspender designs.

Got an idea? Show us your best, and you could win a $1,000 scholarship. You will also have the opportunity to have your winning design produced and sold in the U.S. and featured on the JJ Suspenders website. You will retain full ownership and credit for the design and it's your choice if you want to have it produced.

With the permission of the designer, submissions will be displayed on our contest wrap up and promoted on social media.

The winner will be decided before Sept 31st, 2020. Submissions deadline is Wednesday Sept 1st, 2020.

Designers retain ownership of their designs unless they explicitly agree to a sale with JJ Suspenders. Winning designer will receive a $1000 prize from JJ Suspenders and will have the option to have their design produced and sold on the JJ Suspenders website.

The Details

Create an original design for suspenders that is beautiful and able to be produced for under $30 (material cost in bulk ordering, not including labor to create the suspenders). In order to be eligible for the contest, you must produce either a physical pair of suspenders OR realistic 3D renderings so we can understand your concept. When submitting, please include photos of both the production phase as well as the final product.
